Wiki67 beginner guide: how to start and what to keep

To start Wiki67, press Play on wiki67.com: you open your first pack at once, no account needed. Then create a free account to keep your cards and get your 10 packs. A new pack comes every 10 minutes, so keep the cards you like and sell or discard the rest.

Here is everything a new player needs, in the order you will meet it.

Start without an account

Play makes you a guest account on the spot. By playing you confirm you are 13 or older and accept the terms of use. You play under the name « Player » and hold 3 basic packs.

As a guest you open your packs, keep the cards, unlock achievements and claim their coins, and build albums and your showcase. A few things wait for an account, shown greyed with a padlock:

  • free packs over time and the instant refill
  • the market, the shop and buying
  • friends, trades and the leaderboard
  • opening a 67 pack

A guest account that nobody plays on for 7 days is deleted, cards included. If you like the game, make the account early.

Your first two packs

Your first two packs teach you the game. The screen starts with only the logo and a pack: tap it to open.

A basic pack holds 5 different cards, revealed one at a time, from the lowest tier to the highest, so the best one comes last. Tap the left edge of the card to go back, anywhere else to go forward. Small tips float over the cards and never block you.

When you leave the first pack, your first reward waits to be claimed. Claim it: your coins appear and the navigation unlocks, with Unpack, the Collection and your Profile. The second pack unlocks the Market and, on its last card, shows you the flip button. Its « Got it! » ends the tutorial and unlocks the « Terve! » achievement, worth 20 coins. Terve is Finnish for hi.

Create your account

Open the account sheet from any padlock, then sign up by email or with Google. Everything you did as a guest moves to the new account: cards, albums, showcase, achievements, coins and friends.

A new account holds 10 basic packs, minus the ones you opened as a guest. Opened all 3? You get the other 7. From there, free packs start coming.

One trap: signing in to an account you already had keeps that account as it was and drops the guest progress. Only sign up if the guest cards are the ones you want.

Every new player also starts with 10 coins.

How packs come

  • Free packs: below 10 basic packs, you get one every 10 minutes until you have 10 again. At 10 or more, none come. Open packs before you hit the cap, or the clock stops.
  • The free instant refill: 10 packs at once, every 67 hours. The first one is ready 67 hours after you sign up.
  • Out of packs?: the first time you tap the pack with none left, this achievement unlocks with 3 basic packs.
  • Rewards: achievements, referrals and the weekly leaderboard give packs too.

The full list is in Wiki67 free packs.

Wikipedia, as playing cards.

No account needed. By playing, you confirm you're 13 or older and agree to the Terms of use.

Read a card

Every card is a real Wikipedia article with a picture: its title, its picture and a few lines of the article. Its tier, from Common to Ultimate, comes from the article's page views over the last three full months. Half of all cards are Common; only the 0.05% most viewed articles are Ultimate. Wiki67 tiers explained has the full scale.

Once a card is revealed, flip it to manage it: favorite it, add it to an album, share it, send it to a friend, list it on the market or discard it. A tap on a card in your collection opens the same actions, with a link to the Wikipedia article.

What to keep

You can own the same article several times: each copy counts on its own. Keep:

  • Cards you like. Tap the star to make them favorites. Favorites are safe from mass discard.
  • Rare and up. They start at higher prices on the market: 10 coins for a Rare, 20 for a Super rare, 40 for an Epic, more above.
  • Cards for albums. Albums group your cards by any theme you like: flags, dinosaurs, castles. Need ideas? Try album ideas.
  • Your best 8. The showcase on your profile holds up to eight cards for everyone to see.

Two copies of one article can hold different tiers, because a copy keeps the tier its article had when you pulled it. Check before you discard a duplicate.

What to discard

Discarding a copy gives 1 coin, whatever its tier. A Common starts at 6 coins on the market, so list the ones someone wants and discard the rest.

Mass discard, in the collection, clears many cards at once. Tick Common, Uncommon or both, see how many copies go, then confirm. It skips favorites, cards in an album, cards on your showcase and cards listed on the market.

Never discard an Epic or better for coins. Listed on the market, it starts at 40 coins or more.

Your first coins

You start with 10 coins and get 20 more from « Terve! ». After that, coins come from:

  • achievements
  • discards, 1 coin each
  • selling cards on the market
  • the weekly leaderboard, where the top 10 of each board win 100 coins

Coins buy cards on the market and 67 packs, at 670 coins each as of October 2026. A 67 pack holds 6 cards, all Epic or better. You can also buy coins, from 1.67 €, but you never have to. Cards and coins stay in the game: there is no cash-out.

What to do next

  • Achievements. The Achievements page lists them, the ones you can reach soonest first. Claim each reward from there or from the box on the unpack screen.
  • Friends. Share your invite link. A new player who opens it before their first pack becomes your referral: once they have opened 25 basic packs, you each get a 67 pack.
  • Trades. Trade up to 5 cards a side with any player who has an account. See the trading guide.
  • Your phone. Add Wiki67 to your home screen. It opens full screen, like an app, and can tell you when your free packs are full.

The rest of the rules are on How to play.
